Krista and I were delighted when the Shaws volunteered to host Thanksgiving this year at their house. You may remember that they moved into a new place a few months ago, and it’s a perfect place to host large family gatherings. Everyone pitched in with food, and it was all delicious!
Krista
and I went to get our Christmas tree this past Saturday, and we didn’t
die. We did discuss how many more years we’ll be able to do this,
although so far so good. We have a beautiful concolor fir (they smell
like citrus!) all decorated now thanks to Krista, Jem, and Levi (and Kayla?)
and ready for Christmas. Next month I’ll tell you more about this, but
the Mickles and Krista and I are going to Kentucky for Christmas to visit Cai,
Amy, Dorothy, Ava, Amelia, Ben, and Faye. We’re excited to do something
different for Christmas!
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
This is the card we sent out. If you didn't get one and wish you did, send me an email at kmomgdad@gmail.com with your street address, and I'll add you to my Christmas card list for 2026 and beyond!
